I did not see one there.
Excellent lunch ceasar salad and frito miso for $15.00 wine by the glass is $5.50 per glass. Good atmosphere and great service.
Fun Italian restaurant with a large menu and fresh pasta. We had a reservation for Saturday night but because it was so busy, we still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated.
Booked reservation for 7.30pm and still by 8.30pm could provide a table or timing when one become free. They handled it so badly. Amateurs on so many fronts....avoid....avoid ...avoid
I had a fantastic first experience at Zucchero e Pomodori! I'd say it's just above average pricing but the quality is definitely there. I had the Linguini seafood pasta and wow, it was incredible. The tomato sauce was nice and light and not over powering the seafood flavors. The arugula and goat cheese salad was great too. Walked in on a Sunday night, plenty of room for us and no reservation needed. Definitely a new favorite spot in the neighborhood when it's time to splurge on some pasta. Looking forward to trying some new dishes.
Basic Italian fare whipped up bu non Italians. The food was basic and dimple but tasty. Standard Italian fare. We all ordered different items and they were all good.
We went to celebrate my mother and niece's birthdays. The food and service were good. Their chocolate cake was really good. The portion sizes were good and most of us took leftovers home.
Was looking for delivery after 9pm on Sunday and found Zucchero. The gnocchi is delicious, fast Uber eats delivery.
Gluten free pasta was wonderful! However, the service was a little slow on a slow night. Also, the creme brûlée was ice cold with literal ice inside. Overall, I enjoyed dinner just wished dessert was warmer and had a hard sugar top.
Good food overall. However sometimes certain services can be off. Some of the bus boys dont fully speak English so some communication gets lost. Food is good but sometimes can be on the salty side. We typically go for lunch maybe dinner service is different. Worth a shot
Under the radar very good
Liked the ambience. Good lunch deal (salad or soup and an entree, $5 wine). Free toasted bread with olive oil on the side. Interesting music choice (pop). Wait staff was nice. Did not honor Yelp deal of free dessert. Food was flavorful but a tiny bit too salty. Thoroughly enjoyed dining experience.
Very good lunch value.
Good food. Great prices. A little on the loud side.
Nice selection of gluten-free choices on the menu. Good service and not as noisy thanks to an adjustment to the acoustics. Very accommodating to our party of 8. Recommended.
Good UES Italian. Great for families and dates.
The lunch deal is reasonable and the food is decent, but the staff is kind of clueless, though very nice. The waitress asked if we'd like to start with appetizers but then just pointed us to the soup and salad that was included with lunch instead of actual appetizers, but then she forgot to get our soup/salad orders when we ordered our entrees until one of us said something. The food runner didn't know what any of the dishes were when he brought them out. A vent dripped water on us. The melon and prosciutto appetizer was alright. The Caesar salad was nothing special. The goat cheese ravioli was decent.
The tomato pasta sauce was too salty, you can taste the “ mindless cooks” in the kitchen. The chef needs to supervise the kitchen as he personally cook every dishes. The base sauce was good, and made in advance to mix as ordered, so the salt was added who knows how many times..
How can I say.. Really nice place, Superb Italian cousine, perfect for a romantic dinner.. the service was amazing and all the experience was amazing.. One of my favorite places since today... Very recommended!
Good usual neighborhood Italian restaurant Fair prices and selection.
Really good home cooked food. I've been going to Pomodori for 20 years..never been disappointed. Friendly staff affordable prices.
Very sweet place. The bread basket is amazing, food is really good, and servers never tried to rush us through our meal. Great place if you want to sit for a while and talk while enjoying great Italian food
Big fan of the cooking abilities of this low-key Italian restaurant on the UES. Caters to families (ask for half-orders of pasta in lieu of a kids' menu) and casual dining out more than a date night spot. Entrees range all over Italy; there's plenty of red sauce options alongside northern Italian specialties. There's a section for housemade pastas as well as more standard fare. The veal, several options on the menu plus a special this evening, was prepared perfectly. Gnocchi, vegetarian lasagna, and even a simple spaghetti pomodoro, pleased the group. Lots of good Italian wine options at reasonable prices as well.
Terrible people. They call people for hiring event but send them back saying that the manager isn't here. And they never respond back. Really, unprofessional, ignorant and disrespectful employers. Doesn't even know to evaluate people's time.
I had the chicken Caesar salad, my wife had the ravioli, we both enjoyed our food. Quiet and elegant dining and the staff was very attentive, so we were surprised by the reasonable prices. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a quiet place to enjoy good food.
Came here because I saw a fantastic 2 course lunch deal for a good price. On the upper east side! The food was mediocre. My soup was exceeding salty, but my boyfriend's ceaser salad was tasty. I ordered a parmesan chicken for my main and that was lacking too. It was worth it for the price but nothing to write home about.
This joint is a classic Italian brick-walled trattoria serving authentic Italian dishes and has outdoor seating available. The restaurant has really good Italian food and great Italian wine selections to pair with and all at moderate prices. It's a neighborhood gem in the upper East side and the wait staff and hostess provide attentive and fantastic service. I went there for a brothers night out and had a wonderful time. Highly recommend if you're venturing to the upper East side area... Buon Appetito e Salute!
I ordered pappardelle bolognese on Seamless for my family which we got and the meat was completely spoiled. We all tried eating it and all thought something was really off. I tried calling the restaurant to tellthem, not to get a refund, but to let them know so that they didn’t poison other customers with food poisoning, and the woman answering the phone yelled at me telling me the meat wasn’t spoiled. Really strange interaction considering I was trying to help let them know. I won’t be ordering again, not only because of the food but because of the level of unprofessional service from the person servicing phone calls.
Love the food but not the sitting space. Quite cramped. Service is okay. Will return for food!
Decent Italian food for the price, and our food came out pretty quickly. Although most all tables were full, the noise level was great so I didn’t have to scream for my friend to hear me!
I LOVE this restaurant! The food was delicious and the service was great! Everything was so yummy, I certainly recommend.
Good food for reasonable price but not exciting
Had family Party of 8 adults and two kids for Sunday brunch. Food was excellent. Menu was perfect. Service was very excellent. Everyone loved it! I was very happy with everything.
Always good. Solid food, diverse menu and pleasant service.
What a nice place! Was passing by and decided to stop in for lunch and had a terrific meal and glass of wine. Will definitely be back for dinner! Highly recommend.
The best place on uper east side 👏👏
Ate here with a party of 6. Food was excellent. I ordered the special, seafood spinach linguine. Service was attentive at refilling water. The water was very refreshing. This was a nice cozy spot to have dinner. I shared a dessert with my wife. We had the ricotta cheesecake. It was creamy and just not too sweet with a hint of orange. The price is good for what you get.
Walked in on a Tuesday night after a run. Looked a bit scrappy but everyone was exceedingly nice and welcoming & food was delicious! Great cozy place, small with a lovely ambiance and classic Italian dishes
Loved it. Very tasty. Both dishes
The best Penne Puttanesca I've ever tasted, plus they offered Gluten Free Pasta!! It was absolutely delicious! I had the same dish at another restaurant the following weekend, and it didn't even come close to tasting as good.
Sat outside on the patio and thoroughly enjoyed the food, ambiance, and attentive service
Great food and service. They also serve bread with the meal and have attentive staff. It’s a popular restaurant so a reservation is a must. Hope this helps!
Amazing gluten free pasta, and great, fast service! I would definitely come again!
Nice place. Good food
Absolutely delicious pasta ... we've had delivery and also eaten at the restaurant and every dish that I've sampled or had has been excellent. The varieties of pasta are extraordinary.. A great selection and superb quality. Appetizer are good too and desserts are ok, but the pasta is why you want to eat here. A real gem!
good ole italian food. Great service too
Neighborhood gem with excellent food at modest prices. The fresh pasta is amazing, as are the salads and every appetizer we tried. Notable that they have many gluten free options.
You get what you pay for- Prices were too good, food was average.
Great spot to have brunch, great affordable meal, bottomless mimosas, bloody Mary, screw driver, etc. For 18 bucks, can't beat that price. Plus the staff is friendly and they have great service, they also have a wide selection of fine wines and a full bar, I love the olive oil they serve with the bread. I'm Definitely coming back here again. French toast was delish.
